Halloween Party 2017 – Report

2017 Halloween Party Group Photo

We held our very first Halloween Party on Saturday, October 28 at Tsukiminosato.

The room was full of energetic children and parents in Halloween costumes. It was an enjoyable and memorable experience for everyone!

🎃 Halloween Lesson

At first we learned Halloween words. We not only learned nouns (e.g. spider) but we also learned adjectives and verbs to go along with the nouns (e.g. Five creepy spiders crawl.) We then sang a Halloween song together!

🎃 Pumpkin Carving

Next we got our hands dirty as we experienced pumpkin carving using 2 real big orange pumpkins to make Jack-o-Lanterns!

🎃 Trick-or-Treating

For the main event, we had a Trick-or-Treat stamp rally where we walked around Tsukiminosato and received snacks from the helpful staff there!

🎃 Halloween Bingo

In the end we played Bingo where lucky kids won snack prize packs or got to take home the Jack-o-Lanterns that we made!

We would like to thank all of the parents and children who came, as well as the staff at Tsukiminosato and Mizutama Pool who helped to make this event successful!

🎃 Happy Halloween! 🎃
