Muna Baby/Toddler English Circle

We held our very first Muna Baby/Toddler English Circle on February 14th. People came from afar such as Hamamatsu city or Kakegawa city and we almost reached the capacity.

Lesson Time

All mothers and kids participated in the lesson with lots of energy. Kids concentrated and listened well, especially at apron theater time. They understood and enjoyed the story “The 3 Little Pigs” by combining all the information of pictures, story teller’s face and voice. They never said, “I can’t understand the English story.” They enjoyed the story like babies or young kids developing Japanese skills still enjoy Japanese story books. Also everybody liked finger play with “Wind the Bobbin Up”. I was very happy that mothers were smiling and singing the song together. I highly believe these mother’s positive attitudes make kids become interested in English.

Free Time

I prepared sensory toys which are quite popular overseas and also prepared memos with English sentences which could be used by mothers when kids play with the toys. I was glad that many kids tried the handmade toys. I planned this circle since I wanted to provide not only English lessons but also a place for mothers to make friends who are also interested in English. Then I got a nice feedback message!

Thank you for today. My daughter and I really enjoyed the lesson. We learned many easy songs in English and made some friends. I can’t wait for next lesson 🙂

I will work hard to plan a nice circle for both kids and mothers to enjoy next time!
