Muna Kids English Circle

We held our fourth Muna Kids English Circle for Winter 2018/2019 on January 20th. We played “Spoons”, “Pig” and “Memory” in both the Elementary and Kindergarten classes. ”Spoons” and ”Pig” are great party games and we laughed a lot as well as the parents.

Spoons & Pig

These card games are simple and test attentive skills. All ages can enjoy these games since the games use psychology where people can’t see other things well when they focus on something else while having fun.  As kids played the game again and again, they started focusing attention on others and we could tell kids were good at adapting to new things.

Seven Steps

It’s been a while since we last danced “Seven Steps”. Kids had to change pairs every single time to dance. We hope the kids enjoyed dancing together with new friends which is one of Muna Kids English Circle’s original points where kids can meet new friends of different ages who go to different schools.

Memory

We played “Memory” by using the same focus sentence from “Spoons” and “Pig”. This is such a simple game but it’s a suitable game good for practicing memory skills and using the brain. This game is also good to practice English phrases because it’s simple and repetitive. “Say it”, “repeat it” and “get used to it” is important. Please try this game at home, too!

The next Muna Kids English Circle will be held on Sunday, February 17th at Tsukiminosato.
